![]() There are several types of bases, depending on the platform you want to play on. ![]() The Disney Infinity Base is the platform where you will place the figures, the Power Discs and the Play Sets. Ie all figures, Play Sets and Power Discs of Disney Infinity 3.0 will be compatible with any version of Disney Infinity 3.0, regardless of console. Yes, provided they are for the same game. Play Sets, figures, worlds for the Toy Box, and Power Discs all can be purchased in packages or individually, if you already have the game and base to place them. There are also special versions that include more figures and Play Sets.Īlmost all of Disney Infinity content can be purchased on its own. For example, if you buy the normal Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack, you will have access to the figures of Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker, the Play Set of Twilight of the Republic, and a base. It includes the corresponding game, a play set, two or three figures, and the base. The Starter Pack is the ideal package for those who have never invested in Disney Infinity and intend to start now. However, to access the figures, the Play Sets and the Power Discs, you will need to buy the base separately, or have one from a previous game. You can buy Disney Infinity from each respective platform's online store, which will give you access to the Toy Box of that particular game. When new DLC playsets are bought this of course means new content for the Toy Box Mode becomes available, which unlocks as you play normally. What if I buy the digital versions on console? Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas)Īt least one new playset would be made available every two months or so. Oogie Boogie (The Nightmare Before Christmas)Ģ. Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) (Marvel)ġ. The design would also be based on season 1 Jake.Ĩ. NOTE: His figure would be him in his dragon form but the actual character can switch between human and Dragon. General Grievous (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) Also the amount of in-game currency you get from just playing the game normally should be fair.Ĩ. Unfortunately this more than likely would mean giving the option to buy in-game currency with real money like most phone games do BUT if it were up to me I would make it so you can only spend $5, $10, or $15 and the game would come with a warning :warning: for parents that in game purchases are present and to spend responsibly. Power Disc's (New Only, anything from 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 is available from the start) for Playset Games, Toybox Games, Alternate Costumes and Toybox Skins/Themes would ONLY be sold for real money as DLC for $ 1.50 each. Power Discs (New and Old) for tools, equipment, vehicles, and character abilities, are ONLY bought with in game currency you get from defeating enemys, completing missions etc. People who like the game but don't care about collecting figures are also taken into account with this system since the characters are sold at a cheaper price digitally once certain figures are discontinued.ġ0. NOTE: I know this system isnt perfect but I think it would be a necesary evil so that the corporation feels like they have a "safety net" and fans still get a chance to get physical figures of their favorite characters. For instance in MAY of the games first year, you can have a "The Owl House Bundle" that includes the Eda and Amity figures along with a download code for The Owl House Playset. If discontinued figures are put back it stock it would be for 2 to 3 months and they are labeled as "Legacy Figures." Certain figures can still be optionally sold in bundles that includes 2 figures, and a download code for that month's playset that goes with those figures for $ 19.99. Discontinued figures can be re-sold if their is enough fan demand. If for whatever reason you buy the character as DLC and THEN decide to scan the figures that characters level will go straight to Lv20. Once a wave of figures has been discontinued after lets say being on the market for a year those characters become available to buy as DLC for a significantly lower price of 5$ that way even if you can't get the figure you can still play the character. ![]() New figures would be sold for 13$ each like before BUT to prevent any issue of certain toys being unsold they would only be sold for a limited time before the next wave of Figures replace them. Just like the "Gold Edition" on Steam ALL the previous characters (and other past content) are available from the start without the use of figures BUT in "Disney Infinity Rebirth" if you do happen to have the old figures and scan them those characters will go from Lv1 all the way to Lv20.
